Southbound I-15 to Westbound SR-56 Closed Saturday Morning

SAN DIEGO – The southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) connector ramp to westbound State Route 56 (SR-56) will be closed Saturday morning between 6 and 8, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

The closure is needed to work on the overhead signs in the area. Motorists will be detoured to the Rancho Penasquitos Boulevard off-ramp, then eastbound to the I-15 Poway Road northbound on-ramp to westbound SR-56.  Detour signs will be posted to assist motorists around the closures.

Caltrans asks motorists to use caution, slow down and move over when highway workers are present.
