Southbound I-5 to Eastbound SR- 94 Connector Closed Sunday Morning

SAN DIEGO – Motorists traveling on southbound Interstate 5 (I-5), Sunday morning from 4-8, will not have access to eastbound State Route 94 (SR-94), according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

The connector closure is needed to allow crews to safely make guardrail repairs during a time that will least impact the traveling public. 

 Detour signs will guide motorists to exit Imperial Avenue/17th Street, to Imperial Avenue east, to 19th Street north, to eastbound SR-94.  

Caltrans reminds drivers to slow down and move over if possible when highway workers are present.
