Two Consecutive Off-ramps Closed on I-5 in Chula Vista
SAN DIEGO –Crews from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be closing on several on- and off-ramps on Interstate 5 in the South Bay area. Work begins nightly, Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Crews will close ramps in both the northbound and southbound direction between Camino De la Plaza in the community of San Ysidro and 24th Street in National City. There is potential that two consecutive on- and off-ramps in Chula Vista will be closed between Palomar Street and H Street. Changeable Message Signs will be placed when there are two consecutive ramps closed.
Motorists will be detoured to the next available ramp.
