I-805 Ramps Closed for Pavement Work
SAN DIEGO – Motorists will not have access to Interstate 805 (I-805) on Friday from Murray Ridge Road and on Saturday from Mesa College Drive from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
On Friday highway construction crews will close all of the on- and off-ramps at Murray Ridge Road to I-805. The following morning crews will close the northbound off-ramp and the southbound on-ramp at Mesa College Drive to I-805. Caltrans is closing the ramps to repave the bridge overcrossings.
Through traffic will remain open at both locations during construction. The lanes will be reduced from two lanes to one lane during the course of this work. Only the on- and off-ramps will be closed.
