Temporary Closure for I-8 Connector Ramp
SAN DIEGO – Emergency guardrail repair is scheduled for Sunday from 5 to 10 a.m. on the connector ramp from southbound State Route 163 to eastbound Interstate 8, according to the California Department of Transportation.
Motorists will be detoured to westbound I-8 to the Taylor Street off-ramp then back on to eastbound I-8. Caltrans will place detour signs along the route to direct motorists around the closure. Motorists are encouraged to leave extra time for their commute.
