Bridge Construction on SR-67 Continues
SAN DIEGO – Limited construction scheduled on State Route 67 for next week starting Monday, 19 through Thursday, April 22. On Monday evening the California Department of Transportation will close Magnolia Avenue from Prospect Avenue to the southbound SR-67 Magnolia Avenue on-ramp from 11 to 5 the following morning.
For Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings the highway will be closed between Prospect and Woodside avenues from 9 a.m. to 5 a.m. There are also several on- and off-ramps in the area that will also be closed for construction. Beginning at 8 p.m. the southbound on-ramp from Magnolia Avenue and the northbound on-ramp from Bradley Avenue will close. At 9 p.m. the northbound Prospect Avenue off-ramp and Broadway/Graves Avenue on-ramp will close. All the closures will reopen daily at 5 a.m.
Also on Thursday evening at 9 Prospect Avenue between Graves and Woodside avenues will be closed.
The work is part of the SR-52 Sunny Side Gateway project that is scheduled to be completed by spring 2011.
Crews will place detour signs to assist motorists around the closures.
