Southbound Interstate 5 Aliso Creek Rest Area Closed
SAN DIEGO – The Aliso Creek Rest Area on southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) near Oceanside will be closed today until approximately 6 p.m. due to a diesel fuel spill. Hazmat teams are on site cleaning up the spill.
According to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the closure will not affect the traffic lanes which remain open. The rest area on northbound I-5 also remains open.
