All Lanes on Interstate 5 Re-Opened in National City
SAN DIEGO – All lanes of Interstate 5 (I-5) in National City are now open between Civic Center Drive and State Route 54 (SR-54). Motorists are advised that traffic may slow or stop until the back-up from the emergency closure earlier today clears, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
Crews were able to re-open all north and southbound lanes by 11:39 this morning following the closure to remove a downed power line from the lanes.
