Crews Working to Open Interstate 805 At Telegraph Canyon Road
SAN DIEGO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is working to reopen northbound Interstate 805 at Telegraph Canyon Road from an earlier overturned tanker truck. The California Highway Patrol is reporting that the fuel from the spill is from the truck’s saddle tank and it is not the fuel the truck was transporting.
Crews are on the scene removing the fuel off the freeway and expect to have the route reopened before the afternoon commute. Caltrans is advising motorists to seek alternate routes and to allow for extra time to reach their destination.
