Prospect Avenue in Santee Closed Tonight

SAN DIEGO – Highway construction crews will close Prospect Avenue between Graves and Magnolia avenues tonight from 10 until 5 on Tuesday morning. According to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the closure is needed to allow crews to remove bridge falsework.

The work is part of the Sunny Side Gateway Project constructing a new four-lane highway that will extend SR-52 from the interchange with SR-125 to SR-67 in Santee.

Detour signs will be placed to assist motorists around the closures.
