Northbound Interstate 15 On-ramp from Mira Mesa Boulevard Closed Sunday

SAN DIEGO – The northbound Interstate 15 (I-15) on-ramp from eastbound Mira Mesa Boulevard will be temporarily closed starting Sunday at 3 p.m. and reopening Monday at 5 a.m., according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

Motorists traveling to northbound I-15 from eastbound Mira Mesa Boulevard will make a u-turn at the Scripps Ranch Boulevard intersection with Mira Mesa Boulevard and travel west on Mira Mesa Boulevard onto northbound I-15. Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists. 

This closure is necessary to complete construction and paving of the new northbound on -ramp as part of the ongoing I-15 Express Lanes project. Construction will take place on Sunday afternoon in order to minimize impacts to the weekday commute.
