I-15 Express Lanes Weekend Operation Change in Direction
SAN DIEGO – The weekend use of the Interstate 15 (I-15) Express Lanes will change directions, Saturday, June 27, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
“The weekend change in direction will make use of the lanes for southbound motorists as construction continues along the Interstate 15 corridor, between Poway Road and State Route 163,” said Caltrans District 11 Director Pedro Orso-Delgado.
The weekday operation of the Express Lanes involves opening the lanes to southbound commuters at about 5:30 a.m., reversing the lanes for the northbound commute at 1 p.m., and closing the lanes at 7 p.m.
