Interstate 8 Buckman Springs Rest Area Temporarily Closed
SAN DIEGO –
The Buckman Springs Rest Area along Interstate 8 will be temporarily closed until at least Saturday, June 27, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
A broken water line in the area has forced crews to shut off the water supply to the rest stop. Bathrooms and R.V. dump stations will be unavailable while repairs are being made.
Signs notifying motorists of the closure are posted at the rest stop.
