Imperial Valley Fire May Temporarily Close State Route 111
SAN DIEGO – Motorists should be advised that temporary closures might be necessary at State Route 111 and Keystone Road in Imperial County due to a smoldering mulch fire that was burning during the weekend, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
SR-111 would be closed between Harris and Keystone roads, with Dogwood Road as the detour, if smoke causes a decrease in visibility. The fire may continue to smolder for several more days.
