Southbound State Route 163 at Interstate 15 Closed Wednesday and Thursday Night

SAN DIEGO – Southbound State Route 163 (SR-163) at Interstate 15 (I-15) will be closed from the I-15/SR-163 split to Kearny Villa Road on Wednesday and Thursday from 11 p.m. – 5 a.m., according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

This closure will allow construction crews to do roadway repairs. Motorists traveling south on SR-163 at I-15 will be detoured to westbound State Route 52 to southbound Interstate 805 onto southbound SR-163. Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists.
