SR-94 Bridge Repairs Continue This Saturday
SAN DIEGO – State Route 94 (SR-94) between Forrest Gate and Sheridan Roads will be closed for two consecutive Saturdays, beginning Feb. 21 to allow crews to make repairs to the Campo Creek Bridge. These closures will take place from 3-11 a.m., according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
During the week, construction crews will close one lane of traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists can expect up to a 10-minute delay as crews work to replace the concrete surface on the bridge deck.
Motorists travelling eastbound on SR-94 will be detoured to southbound Forrest Gate Road, then eastbound on Jeb Stuart Road and northbound on Sheridan Road to eastbound SR-94. Westbound traffic will use the same route in the opposite direction.
Residents and businesses in the area are advised that the work will be noisy at times as the old deck is removed and replaced. Every effort will be made to minimize the disruption.
