East H Street Ramp To North I-805 Closed For Two Weeks

SAN DIEGO – The eastbound H Street on-ramp to northbound Interstate 805 in Chula Vista will be closed for about two weeks starting this Monday at 9 p.m., according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

Construction workers will reconfigure the loop-style ramp and add a lane to accommodate more vehicles and a future ramp meter. The westbound H Street on-ramp to northbound I-805 will remain open.

Signs will be posted to direct motorists to alternate routes. From eastbound H Street, take southbound I-805, exit Telegraph Canyon Road and re-enter I-805 heading northbound. Another alternate route is southbound Paseo Del Rey to westbound Telegraph Canyon Road, to I-805. Motorists west of I-805 could take northbound 4th Avenue to eastbound State Route 54, and on to I-805.
