South Centre City Parkway to be Closed Tuesday

SAN DIEGO – South Centre City Parkway at Interstate 15 (I-15) will be closed from 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

Motorists trying to cross under I-15 at South Centre City parkway will be detoured to Citracado Parkway. Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists.  

This daytime closure will allow construction crews to work on the I-15 bridge over South Centre City Parkway as part of the ongoing I-15 Express Lanes project. This work will take place during daytime hours to reduce nighttime construction noise for area residents.
