Full Closure on Northbound SR-67 Monday Night
SAN DIEGO – All lanes of northbound State Route 67 will be closed between Prospect and Woodside avenues from 9 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
The closure will allow crews to set girders as part of the $255 million SR-52 Sunny Side Gateway Project. The project is constructing a new six-lane freeway that will provide a connection from the SR-52/SR-125 Interchange to SR-67 in Santee.
Funds for the project are provided by the California voter-approved Proposition 1B Transportation Bond Fund and from the SANDAG TransNet half-cent sales tax measure.
