Northbound Interstate 15 Off-ramp to Mira Mesa Boulevard Closed for the Weekend

SAN DIEGO – The northbound Interstate 15 (I-15) off-ramp to Mira Mesa Boulevard will be temporarily closed starting Friday at 10 p.m. and reopening at 5 a.m. for the Monday morning commute, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

Motorists traveling to Mira Mesa Boulevard will be detoured north on I-15 to west on Mercy Road to south on I-15 onto Mira Mesa Boulevard. Detour signs will be posted to direct motorists. 

This closure is necessary to complete reconstruction of the off-ramp as part of the ongoing I-15 Express Lanes project. Construction will take place over the weekend in order to minimize impacts to the weekday commute.
