Eastbound SR-52 Will Remain Open This Weekend
SAN DIEGO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has suspended work this weekend on eastbound State Route 52 (SR-52) due to rain in the forecast. Work to repair the dips on both sides of the freeway started last weekend and Caltrans had hoped to work consecutive weekends to complete the project.
Weather permitting; Caltrans will resume work on eastbound SR-52 next Saturday and Sunday during daylight hours. Crews will work on the westbound lanes the first weekend after work on the eastbound lanes is complete.# # # #
