Southbound Interstate 15 Ramps Closed Early Saturday
SAN DIEGO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced today that three southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) ramps will be closed to traffic this Saturday from 3-11 a.m. as part of the ongoing I-15 Express Lanes project.
The southbound I-15 on-ramps from eastbound Miramar Road and eastbound Miramar Way, as well as the southbound I-15 off-ramp to Miramar Way will be closed to complete reconstruction of the ramps. Only one ramp will be closed at a time.
Motorists traveling to I-15 south from Miramar Road will be detoured south on Kearny Villa Road to east on Miramar Way onto southbound I-15. Motorists traveling to Miramar Way from southbound I-15 will exit at Miramar Road and travel south on Kearny Villa Road to Miramar Way. Motorists traveling to I-15 south from Miramar Way will be detoured north on I-15 to west on Miramar Road onto the entrance ramp for I-15 south. Detour signs will be posted to direct motorists.
