Duenda Road Bridge Open in the Rancho Bernardo Area
SAN DIEGO –The much-anticipated opening of the Duenda Road Bridge over Interstate 15 will happen on Monday morning. Motorists in the Rancho Bernardo area will be able to travel on the newly completed lanes for the first time since 2006.
Beginning Sunday evening work crews will be completing the final striping with all lanes on the bridge open to traffic by 5 a.m. on Monday.
This work is part of the I-15 Managed Lanes project. Construction of the middle segment (State Route 56/Ted Williams Parkway to Centre City Parkway) will be completed by the end of 2008. For information on road closures due to construction call the Hotline at 866-890-1397.
