Thursday Night Closure of Southbound I-15
will add Additional Lane Friday Morning
SAN DIEGO – Construction crews from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close up to three lanes on southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) between Carmel Mountain Road and Ted Williams Parkway/State Route 56 at 8 p.m. Thursday and will re-open at 5 a.m. or earlier on Friday. The closure will also include the on- and off-ramps between Camino del Norte and Ted Williams Parkway. These ramps will not be closed concurrently.
The closure is necessary to complete striping work that adds an additional lane and increased capacity on southbound I-15 through the Camel Mountain area.
