Buckman Springs Rest Stop on I-8 in Pine Valley Temporarily Closed
SAN DIEGO – The eastbound and westbound Buckman Springs rest stops on Interstate 8 (I-8) in Pine Valley will be closed this Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
The rest stops will be closed to allow crews to pump the restroom and R.V. septic tanks. The next available dump station is located at the Sunbeam rest area in Imperial County, about six miles west of El Centro.
Signs will be posted along I-8 to advise drivers of the closure, which is scheduled to last no longer than one day, weather permitting.
