Southbound I-15 Ramp To W. Bernardo Drive
Closed Four Days For Construction
SAN DIEGO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced that construction contractors will close the southbound Interstate 15 off-ramp to West Bernardo Drive, just south of Lake Hodges, during the day on Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.
The closure is expected to take place each day from 5 a.m.-4 p.m. This will allow workers to remove bridge falsework in the vicinity of the ramp. Motorists may reach West Bernardo Drive by continuing south, exiting at the next off-ramp at Rancho Bernardo Road and turning right (west).
The work is part of the $1 billion I-15 Managed Lanes Project, which stretches from State Route 163 in the south to SR-78 to the north. The entire project is expected to be completed in the year 2012.
