Off-Ramp Closed This Weekend
At Northbound SR-163 To Clairemont Mesa Boulevard
SAN DIEGO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced that contractors will need to close the off-ramp from northbound State Route 163 to Clairemont Mesa Boulevard from tonight through Sunday afternoon.
The closure will begin shortly before midnight and last through Sunday at 4 p.m. The slow lane (or number four lane) in the vicinity of the off-ramp will also be closed. The purpose of the closures is to allow reconstruction of the new ramp. Motorists may take a detour at Balboa Avenue.
Caltrans and the California Highway Patrol will be on site to monitor the work and traffic conditions. No delays are expected. Log on to dot.ca.gov/dist11 for more transportation information, or phone weekdays, 619-688-6670.
