Bidders are cautioned that subsequent responses or contract addenda may affect or vary a response previously given.

Caltrans District 11 Construction Department has developed this method of answering Bidders Inquiries to better serve the needs of the Contractors who bid on our Projects.
BIDDER'S INQUIRIES & RESPONSES will be updated continuously with the final posting no later than 15:00 on the Wednesday prior to the bid opening.
Caltrans District 11 Construction Department will post all of the questions submitted by any of the registered Planholders for that Contract, but reserves the right not to answer any questions deemed unsatisfactory for public viewing.

3	Plan Sheet / Specification Reference=ITEM #7- FLASHING BEACON, ITEM #9- PORTABLE CMS SIGN, ITEM #10 FLASHING ARROW SIGN THE SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR THESE THREE ITEMS OF WORK MAKE NO REFERENCE AS TO WHETHER THESE ITEMS BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE STATE, OR ARE RETAINED BY THE CONTRACTOR AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE WORK. ALSO, DOES THE EQUIPMENT NEED TO BE NEW OR CAN IT BE USED? PLEASE CLARIFY. Item #7, #9 and #10 shall be retained by the contractor after completion of the contract. The equipment shall meet the requirements of the Special Provisions, Section 12 of the Standard Specifications and the Manual of Traffic Control.
4	Plan Sheet / Specification Reference=SUBMISSION OF BID Is it necessary to acknowledge Addendum 2 if we already submit our bid today? No, it is not necessary to acknowledge the last addendum since it is only to delay opening of the bids.
