Plan Sheet / Specification Reference= Bid Item #15- Seal Joint (Existing Concrete Pavement)-95,200 lf
Special Provisions Section 10.1.24 Seal Existing Joints: Paragraph 1

Question= Bitem # 15 shows a quantity of 92,500 lf. Section 10.1.24 of the special provisions states sealing of both transverse and longitudinal joints is required. The plan quantity sheet shows the item as "Seal Longitudinal Joints Only" and the bid quantity of 95,200 lf reflects this. Is this correct or should an addendum be issued showing the proper bid quantity for this item including transverse and longitudinal joints?

  • There are no transverse joints shown on the plans. Please bid per current contract documents.
