Sheets 611, 612 and 613 of the contract plans present the elevation view of Wall 146. The plans also delineate the beginning and end points for Layout A, B and C which give the type, embedment length, and the elevation relative to the bottom of the wall of the geosynthetic reinforcement. The tables for layouts A, B and C are shown on plan sheets 614, 615 and 617 respectively.
The Layout B table on sheet 615 shows a baseline elevation equal to zero and proceeds up the wall face with type spacing and embedment length to a peak height of 13.6. If as an example you go to plan sheets 612 and 613 you are given the beginning and ending points for Layout B, Stations 146+70 and 147+05 respectively. The maximum height of the for the Layout B envelope is 22 courses times 0.8M / course or 17.6 meters. Table B appears to be 4 meters short if the engineer intends to have geogrid in the top 4 meters of the wall as he did in Layout A. The issue is similar for al four location applied to Layouts B and C.
Please clarify the limits of the Layout Tables.
