8 Q:10/17/07 R:XX/XX/07 |
Plan
Sheet / Specification
Reference= Item 28 - Grind Existing Concrete Pavement & Item 23 - Rubberized Asphlat Concrete (Type G) Question= Section 10-1.01 Order of Work, does not require the contractor to install the rubberized aspahlt concrete after the grinding of the existing concrete pavement and there is no requirement for the sawing and sealing of the existing concrete joints so there is nothing precluding the contractor from installing the aspahlt concrete prior to the PCC grinding. That being the case, once the rubberized asphalt concrete is installed, and considering the pcc grinding will take off 1/32" to 3/8" of concrete from the roadway, the concrete roadway will be slightly below the shoulder elevation thereby creating a form of ponding. Please clarify if there are any order of work restructions surrounding the sequence of PCC grind and the installation of rubber asphalt concrete.

Reference= General Question Question= Are you ever going to answer Question #4? I am perplexed by you non-responsiveness.
Also on this form would you consider removing the "field" for location/postmile. It seems redundant. If you can't find it by the contract number it can't be found.
