District 11 Adopt-A-Highway Status Map
This interactive map displays the general availability of roadway, on/off-ramps, and Park and Ride lots for the Caltrans Adopt-A-Highway Program in San Diego and Imperial counties.
Businesses, civic groups, and individuals are invited to adopt stretches of roadway, on/off-ramps, or Park and Ride lots for litter cleanup, vegetation control, shrub and wildflower plantings, or graffiti removal. Typically, permits are issued for five-year periods, but one-day adoptions are also available. Detailed program information can be found in the Quick Links to the left, or by calling the District 11 Adopt-A-Highway Coordinator (contact information below the map).
Use the map controls to zoom and your cursor to pan around the map to the Adopt-A-Highway program locations. Click on the location and a popup window with the adoption information will open.
Click the “Apply Here” button below the map to submit an on-line application. Complete the application and click the “Submit” button. You will be contacted by the District 11 Adopt-A-Highway Coordinator to complete the application process.
