Kome Ajise was appointed District 10 Director April 19, 2004.

Kome began his career with Caltrans in 1987. He graduated with a Masters degree in City and Regional Planning from the California State University, Fresno; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Benin, Nigeria. Prior to his District 10 appointment, Kome served as the Northern Region Environmental Chief.
