Climate Change Adaptation Pilot Strategy for Critically Vulnerable Assets in Northwest California

Description

Caltrans is partnering with the Humboldt County Association of Governments (HCAOG) to conduct the Climate Change Adaptation Pilot Strategy for Critically Vulnerable Assets in Northwest California project. Caltrans received grant funding from Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for the project. HCOAG is administering the contract and releasing the RFP. The purpose of the project is to develop an adaptation methodology to reduce the impacts of climate change and severe weather on state owned transportation facilities. The project will focus on four distinct locations in District 1 with transportation assets that are critically vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. A vulnerability assessment and range of adaptation improvement measures will be developed for each location.

RFP Release Date - Friday, July 19th, 2013

Proposal Due Date - No later than 5:00 PM on Monday, August 19th, 2013. (Proposals must be received by, not postmarked by, the closing date and time.)
