3rd and R Street Median Project
Caltrans will install raised median islands on R Street (Route 255) near the intersection of 3rd Street in Eureka. These raised median islands will increase safety for pedestrians crossing R Street and direct vehicular traffic. The raised median islands will prevent left turns or cross movements by vehicular traffic at this intersection. Only right turns will be possible when this project is completed.
