After a year in construction, Glendale has a new interchange at northbound I-5 and Western Avenue. Caltrans reconfigured the on- and off-ramps so that they now begin and end at a signalized intersection with Flower Street rather than connecting directly with Western Avenue. The off-ramp begins as two lanes and widens to four lanes at Flower Street. Work wrapped up in July.

This $35 million project is improving traffic flow, relieving congestion and enhancing safety. Rasmussen was the contractor. Congratulations to Resident Engineer Caesar Resler and the entire construction team for another on-time/on-budget project!
