Inquiry submitted 10/19/2017

Response #1:As marked on Caltrans website, under "All Projects Currently Advertised":

"Beginning with projects advertised, or addenda issued on or after October 16, 2017, electronic bid files i.e. bid books and addenda, will be distributed through the Bidx.com website. These electronic bid files will no longer be available on the Caltrans website."

Inquiry #6: Thank you for your response to question #5 about the EBS addendum file. So just so I understand, this new process will overwrite your current file and you have to rework everything you had done in the previous file.
Inquiry submitted 10/19/2017

Response #1:There were no changes to the bid items, this process should not affect your previous work. The only time the file would be overwritten would be if there were changes to bid items that had already been filled out.
Response posted 10/19/2017

Response #2:Since EBS files resides on the BIDX site NOT Caltrans webpage any longer, your understanding is valid.
