Inquiry #2: Bid item # 2 Develop Water Supply, there are no specifications or direction for this bid item. We found 4 existing water meters belonging to ACWD and (1) CCA. Is this bid item for this CCA to cover the watering cost for the Plant Establishment Period? If not please advise what the bid item includes.

Inquiry #3: Sheet IQ-4 Irrigation Conduit Qty Callouts, Conduit # 8 on Sheet IP-12 WB line Station #16+16 Show this conduit type to be *" CHDPE pipe. This conduit on sheet IP-12 runs across Washington Blvd including a existing island. Since this is CHDPE it would require to be open trench across a 4 lane road, why would you elect not to bore at this location?

Inquiry #4: Are all # 5 Pull boxs to comply with section 86-1.02C and material to be an " integrity" Tier 22 Pull Box? or can we used the Standard # 5 concrete box and lockdown Lid??

Inquiry #5: Construction plans show 176,364 SF of existing iceplant areas within the project limits. There is no call out to maintain these areas or is there a bid item to maintain existing planting areas. How are these areas to be maintained for the duration of the contract??

Inquiry #6: Plant legend for basin mulch and area mulch call out is for "TB" Tree bark, is this walk on bark that the state wants. Project adjoining this 04-2537C4 was using Tree Trimmings? why such a vast difference in material as well as high increase in price. Please clarify that this is the type of material for this project
