Inquiry #4: Per specification section 71-3.08A(1), the resin for the CIPP on this project must be low styrene, and per 71-3.08B(4), it must also be a vinyl ester system. However, we noticed that in the CA Dept. of Fish & Wildlife permit contained in the Info Handout, only 4 of the culverts on the project are called out with a requirement to use a non-styrene resin system. Will only the 4 culverts listed in the CDFW permit (drainage system nos. 2, 5, 7, & 9) require the use of a non-styrene vinyl ester resin system for the CIPP, or is that type of resin system required to be used for all the CIPP installed on this project?

Response #2:
Only the 4 locations listed in the CDFW permit require the use of a non-styrene vinyl ester resin system for the CIPP.
