Inquiry #1: Bid item number 8, Asphaltic Emulsion (Fog Seal Coat), shows a quantity of 48 tons. The "Bituminous Seal" quantity chart shown on plan sheet Q-1 lists two locations for the seal coat with a total length of 1,975 LF. The only reference to the "Seal Coat" is shown on the typical section plan (X-1) in Detail B with a width of less than two (2) feet. The bid item quantity is obviously in error, please revise the quantity to the correct amount.

Inquiry #2: The project consists of two segments of Highway 162, one on the east side of Highway 99 and the other on the west side of Highway 99. The typical section shown on plan sheet X-1 refers only to the section on the east side of Highway 99 (PM R9.75 to R12.60).
There is no typical section shown on the plans for the section west of Highway 99 (PM 7.7 to 9.706). The west section has significantly less width than the east section however the quantities shown on plan sheet Q-1 appear to be based on the wider width shown in the type section for the east side. Please provide a typical section for the west section of Highway 162 (PM 7.7 to 9.706) and verify or correct the following bid item quantities for that segment of the project ;
