Inquiry #3: #1: Regarding bidder inquiry number 2, the question was meant to be phrased as "is there a cure period between the placement of ARCS and placement of RHMA-G?".

#2: Will this project require import borrow?
A majority of the excavation is existing AC, CTB, & PCC. Excavation elsewhere on the project may or may not be suitable for embankment and may also have to be used as embankment elsewhere on the project.

Inquiry #4: Re: Striping These are high use intersections that have always had thick thermo 80-100 mil existing. Why would you put 40 mil thermo in now , it would totally be out of place and be short lived.

Inquiry #6: The working days for this project are understated. Please increase the working days for the following reasons;

#1. Lane Closure Chart J1 & K1 do not allow work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. This limits work to a 4 day (Night) work week.
#2. Lane Closure Chart K1 only allows for an 11 hour closure.

The amount of work that needs to get done cannot be accomplished working 4 nights a week with an 11 hour closure window.

Inquiry #9: The plans appear to not have variable depth cold planing and paving where it occurs. Without this, it can only be expected to return the same smoothness of the existing road. Please consider allowing variable cold planing and paving in order to maximize improvements.

Inquiry #11: Per the response to Inquiry #9, when looking at L-1 to L-21 on the plans, the hatching areas indicate different fixed depths for cold planing depending on the location. Variable depth cold planing and paving are not indicated. For example, on L-1, From Station 75+35.66 to Match Line L-2, it shows fixed depths for 0.30' cold planing, 0.20' RHMA-G, and 0.10' RHMA-O. With fixed depths, minimal, if any improvements can be made to the roadway.
