Inquiry #1: In the project Special Provisions, Page 14, Section 39 ASPHALT CONCRETE states, "Replace the 3rd and 4th paragraphs in section 39-2.01B(2)(b) with: Treat aggregate with lime slurry with marination."
In lieu of the "Lime Slurry" aggregate treatment process, will Caltrans accept the "Dry Lime (with marination)" process for treating the aggregates as specified in Section 39-2.01B(4)(c)(ii) of the Standard Specifications?
