Inquiry #2: Re: Moving lane closer for striping.
It is highly irregular that this job does not have moving lane closer for striping and reflectors on this project. This would be a major project to stripe and ref with cones what normally would be extremely easy. In turn this would be pricey. Please reconsider. Also there are no spec's for striping. We assume sprayable is 40 mil but 1-5 should be thicker thermo. Thank You

Inquiry #3: Item 4 Temporary Pavement Marking (Tape) has no corresponding removal item with it. If it is the intention of Caltrans that this temporary delineation is to be installed after the cold planing operation then there will be issues with the product adhering to the rough surfaces. Alternative temporary delineation, such as paint, could be used which would be more appropriate in this situation.
