Inquiry #2: Where are proposed Piezo Screened Transmission Cables (STC)getting terminated at TMS No. 281 (PM 43.88) on Plan Sheet E-6? I assume they will be terminated either at the existing Pull Box adjacent to the Piezo or at the Route 36/99 Junction 650 feet away. Note that the Piezo Manufacturer recommends a maximum Cable length of 500 feet.

Inquiry #3: Type A HMA is for paving the asphalt between the sawcut line and new concrete and private driveways. On page 23 of the Special Provisions states, The grade of asphalt binder for the Type A HMA must be PG 64-28M(b). Is this correct?

Inquiry #5: Line items 72 through 78 detail thermoplastic striping, without reference to warranty requirements described in the special provisions, page 28 -31. Please clarify that a five year manufacturers warranty is required.

Page 31 of special provisions details initial retroreflectivity requirements, but does not state length of initial period. Measurement is required between 48 hours and 30 days after initial installation. Please clarify that this is the initial retroreflectivity period required.
