Inquiry #3: Regarding the work required for bid items 54-56, a specification for the cured-in-place pipeliners (CIPP) has not been included in the special provisions, and in the 2015 Caltrans standard specs, section 71-3.08 for Cured-In-Place Pipeliners is shown as Reserved, with no specification provided. Please provide the specification section 71-3.08 to be used on this project for the cured-in-place pipeliner work.

Inquiry #4: Drainage system 28 indicates replacing a portion of the 24" SD crossing under Route 29 at PM 47.14. The cross sections show the existing SD to be replaced is up to 37 feet deep and just outside the EP on the 2:1 slope. This work is not possible to perform as designed. Please remove this replacement work from the contract documents and may I suggest changing the design to a bore & jack.

Inquiry #5: Drainage System 27 units appear to be reversed on Drainage Plan D-22 with respect to both the Drainage Profiles DP-22 & the Drainage Quantities. Please change Drainage System 27 to reflect the correct drainage units.

We needed to know how much pressure they need to withstand? Also if anything special needed, does it needed to be Domestic?
