Stone Valley Storm Damage Repair Project
This Project Has Been CompletedProject Description
The project will repair damage from a landslide and prevent further erosion on the west side of southbound Interstate 680 (I-680) at the Stone Valley Road off ramp. The work involves establishing rock slope protection at the failed areas and installing an anchor wire mesh system to stabilize the slope beneath the sound wall.
Work will occur mostly during the day to reduce impact to traffic and the surrounding neighborhood. The work will take place behind the I-680 sound wall between the wall and San Ramon Creek. No lane closures are anticipated on I-680. All work is weather permitting.
Work begins in April and construction is anticipated to continue through late 2016.
