152 Pacheco Creek Paving

Santa Clara County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will begin work on Monday, June 20 to grind and pave the roadway on SR-152 about 20 miles east of Gilroy from Pacheco Creek in Santa Clara to the Merced County line near Dinosaur Point Road. The primary hours of operation during the weekdays will be from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the westbound direction and 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the eastbound direction. Lane closures are also possible from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the westbound direction during the weekdays. Some weekend work is possible during the evening and early morning from 7 p.m. Saturday to 10:00 a.m. Sunday.

The work will require a single lane closure on SR-152 along the project path of this moving operation. The project will be completed in late August, 2016.

Advance warning changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area and please “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
