101 Morgan Hill Rehab
In Santa Clara County in Morgan Hill and San Jose on Route 101 from East Dunne Ave to 0.6 mile north of Silicon Valley Blvd.
PROJECT FUNDING AND OBJECTIVES:
This project is funded through the Roadway Preservation category within the SHOPP Program (Program Code 201.121) and its objective is to preserve and extend the service life of existing pavement and improve ride quality.
This Capital Preventive Maintenance (CAPM) project proposes to replace all severely broken concrete (PCC) pavement slabs and all PCC slabs with 3rd stage cracking, repair spalled longitudinal and transverse joints, seal cracks, grind the whole width of the PCC pavement, and resurface the existing exible (AC) pavement of the mainline, only.
Construction of project is expected to start in May 2016 and is scheduled to be completed by October 2016.
