El Dorado US Highway 50 Sand Traps


DESCRIPTION

In El Dorado County on U.S. Highway 50, from Bridal Veil Falls Road to Strawberry Lodge Drive, install sand traps and maintenance vehicle pullouts.


PROJECT BENEFITS

This project will install sand traps at multiple locations to collect traction sand and prevent it from entering the American River. The addition of maintenance vehicle pullouts will allow for servicing the sand traps safely off the highway.
