Sacramento, Yolo, Colusa and Glenn Interstate 5 Striping Project

DESCRIPTION

This project will remove existing 4-inch traffic striping and replace with 6-inch traffic striping on Interstate 5 from the San Joaquin County line continuously to the Tehama County line. The project will also replace traffic markers with “wrong way” markers and add Interstate Pavement Markings at key interchanges.

PROJECT BENEFITS

The wider traffic stripes will be more visible to the traveling public and autonomous vehicles. Traffic stripes will be more visible in inclement weather. The “Wrong Way” pavement markers will provide a more continuous reflection warning to wrong way drivers.
